September 7 – Calapan City Jail, Oriental Mindoro
37-year-old political prisoner Jeffrey Delos Reyes was shot in the head by an unknown party while he was in Calapan City Jail, Oriental Mindoro, peasant alliance Katipunan ng mga Samahang Magbubukid sa Timog Katagalugan (KASAMA-TK) says.
The attack took place at 2 AM this morning, leaving Delos Reyes in urgent need of surgery to remove the bullet from his head.
Delos Reyes was arrested in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro due to unspecified trumped-up charges last 2016.
KASAMA-TK is currently asking for donations via GCash at 0930 914 6435 to help pay for his procedure.
