Student publication UPLB Perspective names Sonya Mariella Castillo as its new editor-in-chief, after she was appointed by UPLB Chancellor Jose Camacho Jr. in a memorandum dated December 1, 2021.
Castillo, Batch ‘18 BS Mathematics student, emerged as victor in the editorial exam held last November 10, succeeding former EIC Mark Ernest Famatigan, Batch ‘18 BS Agricultural and Applied Economics student.

Dr. Baby Richard Navarro of the College of Agriculture and Food Science (CAFS) served as chair of the Ad Hoc Editorial Examination Committee to select the Perspective’s EIC for A.Y. 2021-2022, in accordance with the Revised Rules and Regulations governing the student publication.
Dr. Navarro was joined by Asst. Prof. Pauline Gidget Estrella of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and Asst. Prof. Luisito Abueg of the College of Economics and Management (CEM).
